Ontario and Saskatchewan joining efforts in opposing federal carbon tax

The federal carbon pricing backstop (20$ per ton of CO2 equivalent), to be imposed starting January 2019 to any province that doesn’t implement an effective form of carbon pricing to reduce its GHG emissions, hasn’t convinced the premiers of Saskatchewan and Ontario.

On the other end of the spectrum, British Columbia and Quebec seem to disagree, saying that a price on carbon has not affected their respective economies.
