The Academy of Transitions is taking shape

Some initiatives feel like turning points ; moments when something shifts, gently but unmistakably, in the right direction.
The official launch of the Academy of Transitions crowdfunding campaign is one of those moments.

At CCG, we see it every day: organizations are ready to evolve, ready to align with planetary boundaries, ready to strengthen their resilience… but too often, they move forward alone, scattered, without a shared framework.
That’s exactly what the Academy aims to change.

More a movement than a project

At first glance, it may look like just another campaign—an initiative to fund training and support activities.
But that would miss the point entirely.

The Academy of Transitions is built on the idea that organizations don’t just need experts — they need a space for cooperation, an ecosystem that brings together strengths, experiences, and perspectives.
A place where people not only build skills, but also connections, shared references, and a collective capacity to act.

This movement stems from a simple but powerful observation:

  • Organizations want to change but often lack guidance.

  • Experts exist, but work in silos.

  • The momentum created by a workshop or diagnostic fades too quickly once the support team leaves.

The Academy offers another path: personalized support, led by a main expert who, like a coach, brings together the right resources at the right time.
Think of it as a sports coach — you keep your point of contact, your anchor, while that person brings in specialists as you progress.
It’s simple, fluid, and above all… profoundly human.

Why CCG chose to get involved

At CCG, our work leads us to support cities, businesses, and organizations seeking to reduce emissions, adapt to climate risks, and strengthen resilience.
We know that transition doesn’t happen by decree — it’s built step by step, through trials, conversations, and growing awareness.

That’s why joining the Academy felt completely natural to us.

Because it embodies what we value most:

  • Collaboration over competition,

  • Generosity over gatekeeping,

  • Long-term transformation over one-off interventions.

And above all, because it already brings together 24 partners, all committed to amplifying their impact by working collectively.
There’s something genuinely inspiring in seeing so many areas of expertise converge to help organizations take a decisive step forward.

CCG’s contribution: Resilience as a strategic advantage

To contribute to the movement, we’ve chosen to offer a workshop focused on a growing priority: organizational resilience in the face of climate change.

As fires, floods, outages, supply chain disruptions, and extreme heat become more frequent, the question is no longer “What should we do if this happens?”
But rather:
“How can we prepare our organization to keep functioning in an unpredictable world?”

Our workshop provides a simple, structured, and collaborative introduction.
It helps participants identify:

  • Their essential functions,

  • Their critical dependencies,

  • Their vulnerabilities,

  • Their adaptation levers,

  • And their first priority actions.

A short process — but one that opens the door to deeper transformation.

A collective dynamic is taking shape

The Academy is advancing with a simple goal: to bring together diverse expertise within a common, coherent, and accessible framework.

Each partner contributes a specific area of knowledge:

  • Organizational robustness,

  • Managing eco-anxiety,

  • Regenerative leadership,

  • Foresight and scenario planning,

  • Links between biodiversity and business models,

  • Environmental communication compliance.

These workshops approach the transition from different angles, but they all share the same purpose:
to help organizations better understand their context and strengthen their adaptive capacity.
